Item Description -
2-5/8" Diameter Starter/Generator Pulley for 1983 to 1995 Columbia Par Car +++ Has wide groove for 7/16" belt.
NOTE: When Columbia Par Car bought Harley Davidson in late 1981 they reduced the size of the pulley to 2.62" but still kept the 31551-72 part number but added a B to the end making it part number 31551-72B rather than creating a new part number +++ This all adds to confusion.The original one from 1972 to 1981 used for the 3" pulley, our part number EL11-101.
NOTE: Has a plus .070" back spacing.
NOTE: All the starter/generator pulleys we sell will fit on all the Hitachi, Reliance and AMD (Advanced Motors and Drives) starter/generators +++ They all have 17mm shafts +++ You may need to use spacer washers sold below due to different back spacing.
