High Performance Dual Shaft, 3 Horsepower, 36 Volt, 3400 rpm replacement electric Motor for late 1971 to 1974 Harley Davidson model DE, DEC and DE4 with disc brake on the motor.
NOTE: Replaces 2 HP GE Motor, 50% more horsepower for increased torque and speed.

High Performance Dual Shaft, 3 Horsepower, 36 Volt, 3400 rpm replacement electric Motor for late 1971 to 1974 Harley Davidson model DE, DEC and DE4 with disc brake on the motor.
NOTE: Replaces 2 HP GE Motor, 50% more horsepower for increased torque and speed.
NOTE: Has 3/4" keyed male shaft on brake end and 7/8" keyed male shaft on drive end.
NOTE: Uses brush set BR22-140.
NOTE: VERY IMPORTANT: There were originally two different variations of this motor +++ One had a 2" long 7/8" input shaft and the other has a 1-3/4" shaft +++ They only make the one with the 2" long shaft so if yours has the 1-3/4" long shaft you will have to shorten the shaft 1/4" using a hack saw or cut off wheel.
